Does Stempely work for different class types like Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga?+
Yes – every class attended counts as a stamp, whether Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin or Kundalini. You can also count certain formats double, e. g. double stamps for workshops or special classes. All configurable in your dashboard.
Can this be combined with my existing 10-class card?+
Stempely replaces or complements your 10-class card – you decide. Many studios use Stempely as a digital 10-class card: after 10 classes, the 11th is free. No paper, no ticking off, no lost cards.
Can I send workshop promotions and retreat offers via push?+
With the paid plan you can send push messages to all attendees: “New workshop: Partner Yoga on Saturday – grab your spot now!” or “Autumn retreat: early-bird discount this week only.” Straight to the phone, no newsletter needed.
Does this also work for seasonal retreats and specials?+
Yes. You can award special stamps for retreats or set up separate promotions – e. g. “3 retreat attendances = 15 % off the next retreat.” Seasonal offers can be adjusted at any time.
What does Stempely cost for my yoga studio?+
You start free forever – no credit card, no minimum term. Is Stempely GDPR-compliant – even alongside my Mindbody or Eversports system?+
Yes, and that’s actually one of the main reasons for keeping them separate: your existing booking system (Mindbody, Eversports, Punchpass or similar) holds real names, dates of birth and booking history. Stempely explicitly does not touch this data – the loyalty card works completely separately via an anonymous device ID. So you don’t have to set up any data matching between the booking tool and the loyalty tool, sign an additional data processing agreement, or export a Mindbody profile. Practice activity stays cleanly separated from identity.
How does stamping work after a yoga class when everyone is doing Shavasana?+
The QR code is stuck to the reception area, not the class room. On the first visit the attendee scans the code on the way in while taking off her shoes – the app is installed before she has rolled out the yoga mat. On follow-up visits a quick tap of the NFC card on the way out of the studio is enough, without anyone disturbing the Shavasana setting. You don’t have to walk through the room with a clipboard and pen.
What if older attendees deliberately leave their smartphone at home?+
Yoga and “digital detox” often go hand in hand – that’s okay. Over 97 % of yoga clientele between 20 and 55 use a smartphone, and among younger attendees even more so. Anyone who deliberately leaves it at home lets you know on the way in, and you add the stamp afterwards via the studio tablet from the dashboard – without the attendee having to remember it during practice.
